Sierra Pacific founder Red Emmerson built the company by valuing the quality products delivered to customers. His motto – “Don’t pass on bad product.” That philosophy still lives on today in all of the products Sierra Pacific manufactures.
Because Sierra Pacific Windows owns its own timberland, it has control over the entire window and door creation process — from seedling to completed and installed product.
The process starts when harvested wood goes to one of its 14 sawmills in California or Washington to prepare to become high-quality windows and doors. Workers take great care to treat and protect the wood against insects and moisture with Sierra Pacific’s patented, naturally organic CoreGuard Plus™ preservative. For further heavy-duty protection, wood windows and patio doors are encased in heavy-duty, extruded aluminum.
The wood isn’t the only thing protected in all of Sierra Pacific’s top-shelf products. All its windows are made using insulated glass that uses energy-efficient No-Metal TrueWarm® Edge polymer structural foam spacers.
