Danish immigrant Hans Andersen founded the business (then called Andersen Corporation) in Hudson, Wisconsin, in 1903. In the span of 115 years, his company has grown into the largest window and door manufacturer in North America. Now headquartered in Bayport, Minnesota, it is among the most recognized and most used brand in the window and patio door industry.
Andersen has a legacy of creating innovative products that still lives on today. In 1932, the company introduced the Andersen master casement window, the first completely assembled window unit in the industry. It continues that tradition to this day with its best-selling product line, the 400 Series windows and patio doors, which are durable and designed for easy installation.
