Sales Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our growing home exteriors team in the Indianapolis area. In this role, you will meet with homeowners to assess their exterior needs, educate them on available solutions, and guide them through the selection and purchasing process. Our services include window replacement, window repair, roofing, siding, gutters, and doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads through company-provided, self-generated, and referral opportunities
- Conduct in-home and on-site consultations to evaluate customers’ exterior improvement needs
- Perform property assessments covering roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and doors
- Accurately measure and document project specifications for estimates and proposals
- Prepare and deliver detailed quotes for each project, ensuring pricing accuracy and alignment with company standards
- Present product options, pricing, and project timelines to homeowners in a clear and professional manner
- Follow up with prospective customers and manage the sales cycle from initial contact through signed contract
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions and sales activity in the company CRM
- Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and local building codes
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in window repair and/or window replacement sales
- Familiarity with home exterior products, including roofing, siding, gutters, and doors
Required:
- Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in home improvement or construction
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical details to homeowners
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working at heights, including but not limited to climbing ladders and walking on roofs for inspections
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable using CRM software and digital tools for quoting and documentation
- Professional demeanor with a customer-first approach
